Expanding Our Workforce

When first starting at Family Scholar House, I would have never imagined the impact it would have on my life. Much like our participants, I wasn’t sure what the next step in my career would be, but I knew I had a passion to serve and wanted to make a difference in my community.

As Vice President of Workforce Development & Solutions, I have oversight of our Trager Response Center which includes facilitating and nurturing our Community Partner relationships with the Kentucky Community & Technical College System, Association of Independent Kentucky Colleges and Universities, and public colleges and universities, and apprenticeships. Most recently, I have taken on the leadership of Kentucky HealthCorps, our Public Health AmeriCorps grant.

As our reach across Kentucky grows, it is so inspiring as a young professional. For me, it’s so much more than a job. We are changing the lives of families and their generations to come. The growth of our organization is so inspiring and motivating.
