Jessica Bullard started at Family Scholar House as an Academic Coach, completing a goal to give back to a place that had given so much to her. Jessica was once a participant at Family Scholar House. The entire time she was there she consistently thought about the things she would like to accomplish once she made it on the other side. Now that Jessica has crossed that finish line she loves pouring into the participants and using her story to motivate and encourage them.

Clothing can be a form of self-expression. In many cases, it can be used to help one find oneself. Colors, patterns, and trying out different styles can make a huge difference in self-esteem and overall confidence. Clothes have a story to tell, and so do the people wearing them like Family Scholar House participants Kwanita and Dia. They both had the honor of being professionally styled at the cabi Love Local Clothing event and the blog details their stories.

Thanks to our partnerships, Family Scholar House (FSH) has brought its transformative program model to Texas.
