In our work at Family Scholar House, we stand on the broad shoulders of the dedicated women religious who founded our organization and paved the way for us to grow into a national best practice in serving student parents and their families. Recently, I was in the Lochner Legacy Lobby (named for our first director Anne Mary Lochner, OSU) and with tributes to all six of the orders represented by our founders. Especially for our newer staff and participants, this is a reminder that the contributions of the sisters live on through our work, locally, regionally, and nationally.
As we celebrate the life of Sister Anne Mary and the legacy she leaves with us as she enters eternal life, we are called to make her and all of our founders proud through our service. Rest in peace, Sister Anne Mary.
