With a vision for student success and the economic development of human potential, Family Scholar House provides coordinated wrap-around services for students and their families. The non-profit was one of only five mature program recipients of the national 2020 Rise Prize recognizing programs with significant success in supporting student parents. Family Scholar House has 5 residential campuses in Louisville, home to 247 single-parent families and 32 foster alumni — all pursuing post-secondary education.
