Mexican Rice Recipe by Chef Nancy
Ingredients
- 1 cup rice, uncooked
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 cloves garlic, diced
- 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 15oz jar of salsa, medium or hot (your favorite)
- 3 green onions, diced
- 1 Jalapeño, minced (optional)
Method:
- Cook rice according to package directions, adding the salt and diced garlic to water,
- When rice is done, add rinsed and drained black beans, salsa and diced green onions, mix
- Add jalapeno if you want it hotter, mix
- Serve
