Nurturing Success
KY HealthCorps is our new program created to build up the healthcare workforce. There are many service options available that allow members to find the best fit for their current schedule and career goals. Positions range anywhere from CNA, Dietary Aid, and Guest Relations Specialist, all the way to Business Management, Outreach & Education Specialist, with so many others in between. There is room in the program for anyone interested in becoming a healthcare professional.
Members will gain valuable training, on-the-job experience, and career coaching so that when they complete their service they are ready to take their next best step toward their career goals. Raelyn is our Success Coordinator working with the Lexington community. When we asked Raelyn why this program matters and why she loves her role she said:
“As a KY HealthCorps Success Coordinator, I am excited to support members throughout the state of Kentucky that are interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. KY HealthCorp is an amazing opportunity for individuals to gain valuable experience in the field and increase their employability far beyond their service term. I am grateful to be part of a program that helps others discover and nurture their passions and look forward to building confident professionals and community leaders in KY!”
Our Success Coordinators work directly with potential members to recruit, enroll, and support them through their service as an AmeriCorps member. Raelyn helps our members stay on a path to success, overcome obstacles they may face, and provides any support they need. We are so happy to have Raelyn on our team and know she will make a positive impact on the Lexington community!
